Well, here are some photos from the latest show at MOCA about street art. I didnt like it too much. There was an faux vibe to the whole show... I felt like I was in Disneyland or something. How do you recreate the gritty streets at a contemporary museum? Hmmmm..... do you build animatronic taggers like the picture here below?
It was all very eye-catching and pretty but just eye-candy for me personally...
I happened to go for the closing party and missed it...but they had all these mobile gardens on display. I guess the point is that you can bike your garden around to different places. Biking+gardens=cute and trendy but not super practical. Am I being too closed-minded?
