Here is a bit of what I saw at art:LA though couldnt keep track of all the artists names...
This is Tim Hawkinson at ACE Gallery. I loooove him...

This piece consisted of a wall of paperback books with the characters on the cover cut up and assembled together down below.
I dont know who the artist is but the background reminds me of Peter Doig.
